Add a service

For owners and admins

A service is a listing: a page on your site with a title, a price, photos and a description. Clients read it, then ask to book through the form on that page. Categories group your services and give each group its own page.

Before your first service: a category

Every listing needs a category, so make one first. Go to Admin › Categories › New Category. Fill in Category Name (for example "Repairs" or "Consultations"), leave it Active, and press Add Category. The placeholder text mentions houses and apartments; ignore it. Badge colors and sort order are optional.

Each category gets a public page. Under Admin › Category Pages you can set its header, description, image and whether it shows on the homepage. That page saves as you type.

Create the service

  1. Open the Listings tab and press Add Listing. The form is titled Add New Listing.
  2. Fill in the four required fields: Title, Listing Category, Listing ID (any short code unique to you, such as 001) and Slug. The slug fills itself in from the title and becomes the page address, /listing/your-slug.
  3. Under Listing Details, set Price and Sales Tax % (7 by default). Leave Security Deposit empty unless you take one.
  4. Check the toggles. Published is on by default. Show Contact Form is off by default, and without it clients have no way to ask for this service from its page. Turn it on for anything bookable.
  5. Add photos under Media Management › Manage Images. Drag files in or paste an image address. Images up to 5 MB; short videos (MP4 or WebM) up to 25 MB. Drag the rows to set the order. Manage Videos takes YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook links.
  6. Write the Description. It is a rich text field, so headings and lists work. Editing an existing listing also gives you Ask AI, which drafts from what you have typed.
  7. Optionally fill in Benefits and Features (comma-separated), a custom call-to-action block, private notes, and the SEO Meta Tags.
  8. Press Create Listing. Photos and videos are saved together with the listing, not before.

Price is information, not a checkout. A client cannot pay for a service from its page. They ask to book; you confirm the appointment and send a payment link from the calendar. See Take a booking and Get paid with Stripe. A price of 0 hides the price on the page.
